What's normal
Mild to moderate nausea for 24–72 hours after each dose escalation, gradually improving over 4–8 weeks of stable dosing.
- •Eat smaller, low-fat meals spaced through the day
- •Hydrate steadily — sip water, ginger tea, electrolytes
- •Stop eating at the first sign of fullness
- •Bland proteins (eggs, chicken, Greek yogurt) over rich foods
- •Greasy, fried, or very rich foods
- •Large meals or eating past satiety
- •Alcohol — slows recovery and worsens GI symptoms
- •Skipping protein entirely
If nausea prevents you from keeping fluids down for more than 24 hours or persists beyond the typical 72-hour post-dose window.
Severe abdominal pain (especially radiating to the back), persistent vomiting, signs of dehydration, or yellowing skin — possible pancreatitis or gallbladder issue.
